Mr. Edward Wesley Hallman, 56 of Crossett, AR, died Monday, February 25, 2008 at Central AR Veterans Hospital in Little Rock, AR. Mr. Hallman was a native of Boydell, AR, but a resident of Crossett for the past 6 years, a truck driver and a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his father, Omar Hallman, his mother and step-father, Agnes Cotton Sheffield & Jessie Sheffield, and his maternal grandparents, George & Flossie Cotton.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Tammy Hallman, two sons, Derrick Hallman and Edward, wife Chie-Chee Hallman all of Crossett, AR, one daughter, Rebecca Hallman of Colorado, five brothers: James Hallman of Lake Village, AR, Devorn Sheffield of Monticello, AR, Louis Hallman of Pine Bluff, AR, John Sheffield of Conway, AR & David, wife Tina Hallman of Greenville, MS, and three sisters: Janie Trantham of Montrose, AR, Peggy Hallman of Monticello, AR & Sarah Sheffield of Crossett, AR.

Funeral services were Friday, February 29, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Cromwell Funeral Home with Bro. Scott Wheeler, officiating. Pallbearers were Jamarious Boston, Kevin Sears, Al Bailey, Mike Johns, Zack Bardin, Dustin Allison, Broderick Stevenson & Josh Martin. Honorary pallbearers were Derrick & Edward Hallman. Burial was in Old Union Cemetery under the directions of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.
