Mr. Eddie Gene Logan, 65 of Crossett, AR, died Saturday, February 16, 2008 at St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock, AR. Mr. Logan was a lifelong resident of Crossett, a retired timber worker, and a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sammie & Erma Williams Logan and two brothers, Eddie Logan Junior and L.C. Logan.

Survivors include three sons: Kenneth, wife Beverly Logan of Jacksonville, AR, Curtis Logan & Eddie Minnieweather both of Little Rock, AR, two daughters, Erma, husband Cleveland Cromwell & Lajetta Stanley both of Little Rock, AR, two brothers, Earnest, wife Katie Logan of Hamburg, AR & Sammie Logan, Jr., of Detroit, MI, two sisters, Genevia Logan and Mary Withers both of Crossett, AR, fourteen grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Friday, February 22, 2008 at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church with Eld. Nolan Phillips, officiating. Pallbeareres were Willie Green, Cain Webb, Troy Webb, Eddie Paige, Rufus Minnieweather & Michael Williams. Burial was in Westview Cemetery under the directions of Cromwell Funeral Home.
