Mrs. Earnestine Canley, 86, of Crossett, AR, died Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at Cornerstone Health & Rehabilitation in Monroe, LA. She was a lifelong resident of Crossett (White Station Community), was a homemaker, and was a member of Gates Chapel A.M.E. Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Dennis Malvin Canley, Sr., two sons, Calvin Odell Canley & Lardell Canley, three brothers, Anderson, Lester & Corey Gilliam and two sisters, Mollie Johnson & Mozell Thompson.
She is survived by four sons: Dennis Malvin Canley, Jr., Raymond Canley and Donnie Ray Canley all of Crossett, AR, Russell Canley, wife Betina of Bastrop, LA, one daughter, Clarice Canley Hendrix, husband Walter of Crossett, AR, one god-daughter, Ann Elizabeth Wade-Cooper, husband Otis of St. Roberts, MO, twelve grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Funeral services are Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 11:00 am at Gates Chapel A.M.E. Church with Pastor Harriel D. White, officiating. Active pallbearers are Joe Monroe, Jeff Holyfield, Greg Bridges, Kenny Burns, Larry Rogers, Cornelius Brown, Lawrence Tucker and Robert Williams. Honorary pallbearers are sons & grandsons. Burial in Ryles Chapel Cemetery.
