Obituary

Mr. Earl Kitchen, 86 of Wilmot, AR, died Saturday, July 18, 2009 at his residence in Wilmot. He was a lifelong resident of Wilmot, a retired farmer, and a member of First Baptist Church in Wilmot. He was preceded in death by his wife, Earnestine Kitchen, his parents: Jim & Minnie Davis Kitchen, one brother, James Kitchen & two sisters: Inell Freeman & Maggie Thompson. He served his country in the United States Army. He served as a Senior Deacon for over 40 years at First Baptist, and he also served on the Wilmot City Council.

He is survived by seven sons: Billy R. Kitchen, Robert E. Kitchen, Cleveland Parker, Nathaniel Whitaker, Roy C. Whitaker & Donelle Lewis all of Wilmot, AR, Willie James Johnson of Minnesota, one daughter, Victoria Johnson of Wilmot, AR, four brothers: Otis Kitchen of Little Rock, AR, Jim Kitchen of Wilmot, AR, Luther, wife Lee Kitchen of Santa Rosa, CA & Wiley, wife Ethel Mae Kitchen of Dermott, AR, three sisters: Dorothy Kitchen of Gary, IN, Annie Lee Goree of Wilmot, AR, Minnie Lou Kitchen of Milwaukee, WI, a special friend, Louise Williams, thirty-six grandchildren, thirty-two great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

Services are Saturday, July 25, 2009 at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church with Rev. James Crockett, officiating. Pallbearers are William Jackson, Sydney Sherrer, Gerald Haskin, Robert Penn, Charels Raino & Carl Rollins. Burial in Jim Smith Cemetery.
