Mr. Doyle Lee "Hurley" Miller, 75 of Crossett died Thursday, January 6, 2011 at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, AR. He was a lifelong resident of Crossett, a former employee of Georgia Pacific Paper Mill for 35 years, and a member of Living Testament Church of God in Christ where he served as chairman of the Deacon Ministry. Mr. Miller loved the Lord with all his heart, and he enjoyed football and baseball.
He was preceded in death by his father: A.G. Miller, and one brother: Leeverne "Punkin" Wilson.
He is survived by three sons: Dennis Williams and wife Teresa, Kenneth Tucker, and Edwin Morris all of Crossett, AR; three daughters: Diana Williams of Crossett, AR, Stephanie Williams of Monroe, LA, and LaTisha Williams and husband Thomas of Hamburg, AR; his mother: Willie Mae Cason Wilson of Crossett, AR; one sister Gertharene Tucker and husband Carl of Crossett; fourteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at Living Testament Church of God in Christ at 11:00A.M. with Elder Nolan Phillips officiating. Visitation will be Monday, January 10, 2011 from 6:00-7:00P.M. at Cromwell Funeral Home. Interment will be at Westview Cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.
