Ms. Dorothy Rena Pippen, 47 of Hamburg, AR, died Monday, July 20, 2009 at Ashley County Medical Center. Ms. Pippen was a lifelong resident of Hamburg, a former housekeeping manager at Beverly Health and a member of Soldiers Chapel AME Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Preston Clyde Pippen.

She is survived by two sons: Dontriel Pippen & Quinton Pippen both of Hamburg, AR, her mother, Mrs. Ethel Pippen of Hamburg, AR, six brothers: Billy Clyde (Deloise) Pippen, Jimmy Pippen & Ronnie Pippen all of Hamburg, AR, Carl (Vernae) Pippen of Houston, TX, Donald Pippen of Wilmar, AR & Scottie (Larsa) Pippen of Fort Lauderdale, FL, five sisters: Barbara Kendrick of Chicago, IL, Sharon Pippen, Faye (Clarence) Tucker, Raye Robinson & Kimberly Pippen all of Hamburg,AR & three special friends, Wanda (Kay Kay) Owens, Marcella (Bonnie) Wilson & Loretta Wallace of Hamburg, AR.

Funeral services are Saturday, July 25, 2009 at 4:00 PM at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Gwain Hammock, officiating. Visitation will be Friday, July 24, 2009 from 6-7 PM at Cromwell Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Eugene Wimberly, Jr., Reggie King, Reggie "P.J." Wilson, Robert Robinson, Wayne Pugh & Baron Johnson. Burial in Johnson Memorial Cemetery.
