Mrs. Dorothy Ann Lambert, 71, of Hamburg, died Wednesday, November 11, 2009, at the John R. Williamson Hospice House in El Dorado. Mrs. Lambert was a life long resident of Hamburg and a member of Emmanuel Temple Church of God in Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Elnora Walton Madison, 3 brothers, Joe Nell Madison, Joe Madison, Jr., & Danny Joe Walton. She is survived by one brother, James "Teddy" Madison of Hamburg and niece, who was her caregiver, Katherine Moore, of Hamburg, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 15, 5-6 p.m. at Cromwell Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral services are Monday, 1 p.m., at Emmanuel Temple Church of God in Christ, with the Bishop Danny Mays officiating. Pallbearers are Michael Gibbson Madison, Chad Lamond Tolefree, Isaac Alexander Moore, Carl Wright, Ronald Hubbard, & Willie Ashford. Honorary pallbearers are John Wright, Jessie Wright, Frankie Wright, Herman Madison, John Henry Pugh, Tessie Pugh, Kevin Tolefree, & Jessie James Banks. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home, Inc.
