Dorothy Ann Hendrix 57, of Crossett died Friday, October 29, 2010 at the Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock. She was a lifelong resident of Crossett and a member of Living Testament Church of God In Christ. Mrs. Hendrix loved fishing, word puzzles, and watching TV. Family was very important to her.

She was preceded in death by her father: Robert Matthews Hendrix; one sister: Wanda Kaye Hendrix; and her grandparents.

She is survived by three sons: Chris, Phillip, and Brooks Minnieweather all of Crossett; two daughters: Alice Burns and husband Curtis and Teresa Couser and husband Derrick both of Crossett; her mother Mary Lee Hendrix of Crossett; six brothers: Melvin, Timothy, and Fred Lee Hendrix, Arthur Hendrix and wife Carrie, Winston Hendrix and wife Tammy all of Crossett, and Bruce Hendrix and wife Jarica of Bastrop, Louisiana; four sisters: Robbie, Brenda, and Corene Hendrix, and Linda Tucker and husband Sylvester all of Crossett; sixteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 6, 2010 at 11:00AM at Gates Chapel A.M.E. Church. Active pallbearers are Derrick Couser, Dennis Williams, Ulyss Haynes, Jr., Ray Lewis, Deon Lewis, and Darren Minnieweather. Honorary pallbearers are the members of Living Testament Church of God In Christ. Interment will be at Pugh Cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg.
