Doris Marie Arnold, 84 of Pine Bluff, AR, died Friday, January 12, 2024, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.  She was a native of Crossett, AR, but a lifelong resident of Jefferson County, a Day Care employee and of the Baptist faith.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie L. Arnold, parents, Watson and Dorothy Smith Carter, two brothers, McCoy and Billy Carter, one sister, Annie Mae Courson, great granddaughter, Tabetha, and great grandson, Zane.  Doris enjoyed reading her Bible and watching hummingbirds in her yard. She was a caring and fun-loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

She is survived by one son, Bobby and wife Michelle Bond of Pine Bluff, AR, two daughters, Debbie and husband Charles Francis of Pine Bluff, AR, and Lisa Riles and Doug Kenner of Franklin, NC, two brothers, Jimmy and wife Jerri Carter and Kenneth Carter both of Crossett, AR, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral service is Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Cromwell Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Michael Neil officiating.  Visitation is 1:00-2:00 prior to service.  Pallbearers are Charles Francis, John Glasscock, Michael Jones, Bobby Bond, Gary Jones, and Brady Blankenship.  Burial in Carter Cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.
