Mrs. Donnie Marie Burns, 60 of Crossett, AR, died Tuesday, July 29, 2014 in Newport, AR. She was a lifelong resident of Crossett, a homemaker and a member on New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Matthew "Sonny" Burns, one son, Kevin Sims, her parents, Edward & Lola Mae Brown Miles, one grandson, Kelvin Omar Sims and one sister, JoAnn Warren. She enjoyed playing cards.

She is survived by two sons, Christopher Sims & Micah Gibbs both of Crossett, AR, one daughter, Pamela Wilson of Crossett, AR, three brothers, James O'Neal Brown of Tucson, AZ, Carl Miles (Fannie) of Crossett, AR and Edward Miles, Jr. of Crossett, AR, one sister, Ruby Mae Martin of Richmond, CA, six grandchildren, one great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends.

Funeral services are Monday, August 4, 2014 at 11:00 am at New Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Jesse Radford, Jr., officiating. Active pallbearers are Dewayne Bridges, Kenneth Burns, Charles Bryant, Curtis Jimerson, Johnny Mack, Jr., Brian Miles, Cottra Miles and Jacob Smith. Honorary pallbearers are the Crossett High School Class of 1972. Burial in Westview Cemetery.

Visitation Sunday, August 3, 2014 from 4-6 pm at Cromwell Funeral Home.
