Donald Lionell Harris, age 86 of Hamburg, AR transitioned Friday, December 26, 2025, at Nightingale at Stonegate.  He was a native of Jones, LA, a resident of Hamburg, a member of Wilmot Assembly of God Church and a retired heavy equipment operator.

He was preceded in death by his parents James Irvin and Minnie Eugenia Rainbolt Harris, four sisters, Nobbie Wooden, Nonnie Taylor, Edna McCready, and Sadie Goleman, three brothers, James, William and David Harris,  a great granddaughter, Payton Adkins, and two sons in law, Keith Clifton and Bruce Timmons. Mr. Harris was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, trapping and hunting. He even killed a bear at age 83. He was very personable and loved visiting with friends.

He is survived by three daughters, Donna 'Carl' Adkins of Chatham, LA, Connie Timmons of Hamburg, AR, and Rebecca Clifton of Beech Grove, AR, two sisters, Doris Roberts of Sterlington, LA and Carlene Bryant of Crossett, AR, six grandchildren, Patchez 'David' Harrell, Heather 'Michael' Rinehart, Trapper 'Angela' Holland, Megan 'Jason' Baird, Ty 'Savannah' Adkins, and John Clifton, eight great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Arrangements entrusted to Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, Arkansas.
