Mr. Dock T. Oden, 85 of Crossett, AR, died Saturday, November 8, 2008 at his residence. He was a native of Amity, AR, a resident of Crossett for the past 75 years, and a retired carptenter. He was preceded in death by one son, John Tilman Oden, two grandhildren, LeAnna Frisby Markham & LaDerrell Frisby, his parents, Luther & Alice Bryan Oden and fourteen brothers and sisters. He was a member of the Arkansas Carpenters Union Local #493.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Mrs. Vivian Oden, one son, Freddie Oden of Bastrop, LA, two daughters, Alice D. Frisby of Crossett, AR & Barbara Mays of Sims, AR, one brother, Charles T. Oden of Gould, TN, nine grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.

Funeral services are Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Cromwell Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Charlie Murphy & Bro. Kevin Herrington officiating. Pallbearers are Benjamin Lemley, Richard, Michael, Chris & Steven Frisby, Ricky, Greg & Brian Paul Oden. Honorary pallbearers are nephews & great nephews. Visitation Monday, November 10 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Burial in Eden Cemetery under the directions of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.
