November 25, 1944 – December 8, 2025
Delois Pippen, 81 of Hamburg, AR transitioned Monday, December 8, 2025, at Ashley County Medical Center in Crossett, AR. She was a native of Strong, AR and a resident of Hamburg for fifty-three years. She was a retired school teacher of the Hamburg School District and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents Lennis and Lucille Billings, and one brother Lennis Billings, Jr. She enjoyed writing and was a published author. She liked watching basketball, going to church, and talking on the telephone with family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of fifty years Billy Clyde Pippen, two sons Patrick Pippen of Little Rock, AR, and Cedric Pippen of Conway, AR, one daughter LaTonya Pippen of Conway, AR, a sister Lois Jean Billings of Loraine, OH, four grandchildren, Cedric Pippen, Jr., McKenzie Pippen, Saniya Pippen, and Miranda Miller, a host of nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
Visitation is on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Cromwell Funeral Home from 4:00-5:00 P.M. Funeral Service is Sunday, December 14, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Pastor Mizell Hawkins officiating. Pallbearers are Lee Marvin Miller, Dontriel Pippen, Chester Owens, Edward Brown, Jeffrey Woodberry, and Kevin Pippen. Burial in Johnson Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.
