Mr. Daylon Devon Crain, 7 of Crossett, AR, died Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at the Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock. He lived in Crossett all his life, was a student at Anderson Elementary School and was a member of Hunter's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Earnest Johnikin, and his great grandmother, Laralie White. Daylon was an active first grader; he enjoyed singing in the youth choir at Hunter's Chapel, riding his bike and playing basketball and softball.

He is survived by his mother, Earnestine Crain of Crossett, AR, his father, Norris Brandon of Rison, AR, one brother, Keyshad Hendrix of Crossett, one sister, Madasyn Leaks of Crossett, AR, his maternal grandparents, Troy & Patsy Webb of Crossett,AR and Bama Ballace of Rison, AR and a host of family, loved ones and friends.

Funeral services are Monday, April 8, 2013 at 11:00 am at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Wilton Baines, officiating. Pallbearers are Roy V'onta Taylor, Terez Thrower, Wayne Wright, Reshard Jasper, Chance Rogers & Carlis Williams. Honorary pallbearers are the Anderson 1st grade class. Burial in Westview Cemetery under the directions of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.
