Mrs. Dattie Bell Curry, 70 of Crossett, AR, died Friday, October 26, 2012 at the Ashley County Medical Center. She was a native of Texarkana, AR and a resident of Crossett . She was a retiree of Georgia Pacific Plywood Mill and a member of Pleasant Green Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, fishing and giving praises to God.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivory Curry, two sons, Victor Woodberry & Garland Woodberry her parents, Elee & Elizabeth Henderson Williams, two brothers, John McCowan and Roosevelt Williams and one sister, Molly Bell Voykin.

She is survived by two sons, Jeffrey Woodberry, wife Charlotte & Bobby Woodberry, wife Karen, one daughter, Larita Woodberry Pendarvis, husband Derwin all of Crossett, AR, eight brothers: Lee Dale Williams of Crossett, AR, Johnny Williams of Texarkana, TX, Robert Williams, wife Sue of Texarkana, AR, Frank McCowan, wife Doris & Leroy McCowan all of Oakland, CA, Lee "Buck" & Henry McCowan of Tucson, AZ, and Phil McCowan, wife Elizabeth of Richmond, CA, six sisters: Beatrice Miller, husband Chester of Crossett, AR, Elizabeth Webb of Texarkana, TX, Darlene Williams Shackelford, husband Jessie of Richmond, VA, Flossie Mae & Bernice McCowan of Tucson, AZ & Betty Jo McCowan of Sacramento, CA, fourteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are Friday, November 2, 2012 at 11:00 am at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Walter Witherspoon, Rev. Murlee Carter, Rev. Roger Curry and Dr. Billy G. Williams. Visitation Thursday, November 1 from 6 to 7:30 pm at Cromwell Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Robert Scates, Randy Dupree, Michael Boyette, Robert Lewis, Jr., John Ivory Webb, and Chester Miller. Honorary pallbearers are grandsons. Burial in Westview Cemetery under the directions of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.
