Darlene Mae Rossiter, 75 of Hamburg, AR, died Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at her home surrounded by family. She was a retired CNA for Area Agency on Aging of Crossett, AR, and a member of Phillip Grove Baptist Church where she served as president of the Mission Ministry, and vice-president of the Ushers Ministry. 'Doy Mae', as she was affectionately called, enjoyed fishing and working puzzle books.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sylvia Ellis (1997), a son, Willie Richard Ellis (2015), her parents, Bill and Daylene Edward Marshall, three brothers, Leonard, Carnell, and Jessie B. Marshall, and two sisters, Ruthie Dean Marshall and Ruby Radford.
She is survived by one daughter, Marie and husband Johnny Hampton of Hamburg, AR, step-son, Marcus D. Webster of New Mexico; three brothers, Jerry Lee, Frank, and Gary Marshall all of Magnolia, AR, eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and other relatives and friends. The family expresses a special thanks to her sitter, Cynthia Childs and Hospice of Monticello.
Funeral services are Sunday, October 8, 2023 at 2:30 P.M. at Phillip Grove Baptist Church with Bro. Horace Ingram officiating. Pallbearers are Terry Gilliam, Cornelius Girtman, Prentice Marshall, Ronald Marshall, Freddie Haynes, and Joe Haynes. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Burial in Johnson Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, Arkansas.
