Courtney Woods, 31, of Fayetteville, AR, died Thursday, December 13, 2018, at Washington Regional Medical Center.  She was a former resident of Montrose, AR.

She is preceded in death by her brother, William O'Bryan Woods; her maternal grandparents, Helen Lewis and John Hodges; maternal great-grandparents, Mamie and Henry Robinson; paternal great-grandparents, Carter and Maybell Woods; and paternal great-grandmother, Armetta Washington.  Courtney had a zeal for life that was infectious. She loved people and people naturally loved her. Her favorite things to do were traveling, movie dates with her Mom, music, and helping to plan events. She was a strong praying and generous young lady and will be missed by so many.

She is survived by her mother, Beverly Hodges of Fayetteville, AR; her father Williams Woods, Jr., of Lake Village, AR; paternal grandparents, William and Geneva Woods, of Montrose, AR; step grandmother Ersalean Hodges of Columbia, GA; one god daughter, Bayleigh Dawson, of Wilmar, AR; 15 aunts, Ruthie Robinson, Linda(Raymond) Dawson, Vernestine (Ray) Holmes, Emma Woods, Cynthia Hodges, all of Montrose, AR, Khe-Shun (Stephan) Henry of Bentonville, AR, Renay Robinson, Lakeshia Marshall, of Fayetteville, AR, Vanessa Woods, Joyce Woods, both of Portland, AR, Yolonda (George) Thomas, Arletha (Phillip) Jordan, both of Lake Village, AR, Every (Jonathan) Jenkins, of Shreveport, LA, Minnie Cousin, of Youngstown, OH, and Gloria Brewer, of Sacramento, CA; and 7 uncles, Darrien Hodges, Anthony Hodges, both of Columbia, GA, Larry Woods, of Montrose, AR, George Robinson, of Kansas City, KS, Jimmy Hodges, of Milwaukee, WI, Charles Hodges, of Sacramento, CA, and Warren Mitchell, of Kenosha, WI.

Service will be Friday, December 21, 2018, 11:00 A.M., at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 1109 North School St., Dermott, AR with Pastor Dexter Howard (Restoration Church of NWA) officiating .  Active Pallbearers are Tyler Robinson, Ryan Marshall, Kytryck Robinson, Landriel Woods, Javarus Curtis, and Larry Woods Jr. Burial in Number 2 Cemetery in Portland, AR, under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home, Inc.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 20, 2018, 6:00-7:00 P.M., at the funeral home.
