Mrs. Cleonia Aurelia Warren, 85 of Crossett, AR, died Thursday, September 19, 2013 at Stonegate Villa Health & Rehabilitation. She was a lifelong resident of Crossett, a retired teacher for Crossett School District and was a member of Gates Chapel A.M.E. Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Alphonso Warren, her parents, Daniel & Robbie Brown Warren, two sisters, Mamie Warren Radford & Juanita Covington, two brothers, Urelee Covington and Wayland Warren. Mrs. Warren was active in her community. She was a member of the African American History Association, The Crossett Reunion Club, the National Education Association and the AR Retired Teachers Association and the Board of Adjustments for the City of Crossett

She is survived by one daughter, Robbie Warren of Crossett, AR, one grandson, Darryl Alphonso Gill, wife Sondra of Stockbridge, GA, two great grandsons, Cameron and Aaron Gill, two great granddaughters, Iliscia and Morgan Gill and a host of other relatives, loved ones and friends.

Funeral services are Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at 11:00 am at Gates Chapel A.M.E. Church with Rev. Harriel White, officiating. Pallbearers are James Adams, Cornell Brown, Roy Curtis, Donald Flentroy, Columbus Foster and Herman Newton. Honorary pallbearers are the Stewards and Trustees of Gates Chapel A.M.E. Church. Burial in Westview Cemetery under the directions of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.

Visitation Monday, September 23, 2013 from 6-7:30 pm at Cromwell Funeral Home.
