Obituary

Mrs. Cleola "Sugar Mama" Youngblood, 87 of Crossett, AR, died Saturday, March 16, 2013 at Arkansas Heart Hospital. She was a native of Bradley County, a homemaker, and a member of New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee "Bob" Youngblood, her first husband, Preston Girtman, her daughter, Eddy Mae Washington, her parents, Willie and Lonia Bluford Mason, three brothers: Willie "Buddy" Mason, Willie "Son Man" Mason, Rev. Simmie Mason, and two sisters, Mary Alexander and Emma Phillips. She loved going to church. She was a faithful member of the Senior Choir and an Usher until her health failed.

She is survived by four sons: Leon Washington of St. Paul, MN, Otha Washington of Richfield, MN, Preston Girtman, Jr. and Willie Lee Girtman both of Crossett, AR, one daughter, Ella Ruth Brown, husband Todd, eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends.

Funeral services are Friday, March 22, 2013 at 11:00 am at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Jessie Radford, Jr., officiating. Pallbearers are Willie Couser, Otha Burk, Ricky Brown, Bruce Wright, Nathan Girtman and Charles Moore. Honorary pallbearers are the New Bethel Ushers Ministry. Burial in Westview Cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.
