Claudine Tolliver, age 79, of Hamburg died Thursday April 15, 2021 at her home surrounded by family. She was a native of Lake Village. She was homemaker and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents Dee and Gassie Sanders- McQuay, four sisters Beadie Morgan, Margie Mason, Ollie Fowler and Maudine Irvine, five brothers John D, Roosevelt, Willie, RJ and Roy McQuay. Claudine was a devotd wife, mother and grandmother who adored her family. She loved family reunions and enjoyed cooking and shopping.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years Curtis Tolliver, one son Curtis Tolliver, Jr.(Paula) of Hamburg, four daughters Kathy Mitchell, Brenda Washington(Michael), Debra Cooke(Jesse), Listine Barnes(George) all of Hamburg, three brothers Rev. Obie McQuay(Erma) of Jackson, MS.; Rev. Olderns McQuay and Hollis McQuay(Algerine) both of Hamburg, fourteen grandchildren James Mitchell III, Ricky Davis, Natasha Howard, Tynisha Jamison, Sharonda Washington, Michael Washington, Jr., Sharyme Whitmore, Joshua Tolliver, Matthew Barnes, Mattan Barnes, Draylon Cooke, Jessica Weatherly, Kali Preacher and Nicholas Miller, eleven great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 3 P.M. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Hamburg with Rev. Willie R. Taylor officiating. Active Pallbearers are M.J. Washington, Draylon Cooke, Matthew Barnes, Terence Howard, Ricky Davis, George Barnes. Honorary Pallbearers are Noah Weatherly, Michael Washington, Jesse Cooke, Joshua Tolliver, Rev. Ephram Johnson and Jace Mitchell.
