Obituary

Mrs. Cincinthia "CC" Goodwin, 60 of Crossett, AR, died Sunday, June 24, 2012 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock, AR. She was a native of Moncks Corner, SC,and a resident of Crossett for the past 35 years. She was a paraprofessional at the Crossett Middle School, a member of New Bethel Baptist Church, and a member of the Order of Easter Star, Silver Star Chapter #306. Cincinthia was a devoted wife and mother who loved God and was a very faithful member of her church. She was the Director of E.C. Crossett Youth Center on Third and Florida Street.

She is survived by her husband of thirty and a half years, Albert Goodwin, three sons: Michael Goodwin Palmer of Crossett, AR, Chaucey Goodwin "Deirere" of Alexandria, LA, Tavae "TJ" Goodwin of Hamburg, AR, one daughter, Michelle Kennedy, husband Danny of Washington DC, her parents, Leon Anderson and Mildred Morrison, both of Charleston, SC, four sisters: Gwendolyn Martindale of Memphis, TN, Linda Palmer, Margie Palmer, and Grace Avel, husband Varnon all of Charleston, SC, eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and a host of other family members and friends.

Funeral services Saturday, June 30, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at New Bethel Baptist Church with Bro. Jesse L. Radford officiating. Pallbearers are Gary Mathews, Shawn Baker, Rodneus Palmer, Ricky Lewis, Keith Martindale, and Dominick Martindale. Honorary Pallbearers are Crossett Middle School Faculty and New Bethel Sunday Class #7. Visitation Friday, June 29, 2012 from 6-8:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home. Burial in Westview Cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.
