Mr. Christopher Y. Hawkins, 51 of Benton, AR died Saturday, January 29, 2011 at his home in Benton, AR. Mr. Hawkins was a resident of Chicago, IL but resided approximately 5 years in Crossett, AR and the past three years in Benton, AR. He was a member of Campground Methodist Church in Crossett and a Bakery worker.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Jean Daniels Hawkins.
He is survived by his father and stepmother: Preston and Edith Marie Jordan Hawkins of Crossett, AR. One daughter, Latisha Hawkins of Chicago, IL. Four brothers: Dexter and wife Tina of Walkhegen, MI, Cedrick and wife Demetrus Hawkins of Chicago, IL, Gregory Hawkins of Milwaukee, WI and Preston Hawkins, III and wife Doris of Milwaukee, WI. One sister: Michelle Hawkins of Milwaukee, WI. His grandmother, Juanita Hawkins, and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 4th at 1:00 at Cromwell Funeral Home Chapel in Hamburg, AR with Rev. Carl Hammock officiating. Pallbearers are James Hampton, Michael Scott, Billy Allen, James Gibbs, Curtis Harris and Larry Rogers. Honorary Pallbearers are The Crooked Creek Hunting Club. Interment will be at Carlock Cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.
