Catherine "Cat" Dukes, age 73 of Dermott, AR, died Sunday, December 17, 2017 at Dermott City Nursing Home. She was a homemaker and a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Allen Dukes; an infant daughter; her father, Willie Grayson; her mother, Willie B. McCoy; two sisters, Novella Hicks and Bertha Hullett.  Mrs. Dukes loved her church and enjoyed cooking, watching the television shows ID and Perry Mason.

She is survived by two sons, Johnny Lee Dukes (Dedra) of Columbus, GA and Tommy Lee Dukes (Iesha) of Denver, CO; two stepsons, Columbus Henderson of Pine Bluff, AR and Floyd Dukes of Winston Salem, NC; three daughters, Barbara Boatner (Jerry) of Dermott, AR, Willie Mae Dukes and Gloria Dukes both of Pine Bluff, AR and one stepdaughter, Ethel Dukes-Cogshell (Uarlee) of Pine Bluff, AR; one brother, Jessie McCoy (Shirley) of Milwaukee, WI; two sisters, Shirley King of Kansas City, KS and Shirley Ann Collins (David) of Gilbert, AZ; fifteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Services are 11:00AM Saturday at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Dermott with Rev. Ricky Lattimore officiating. Pallbearers will be James Danzy, Theroux Danzy, William Freeman, Larry Woods, Johnathan Woods, Edward Moseby, Jr.,  Edward Moseby, Jr. III and Loasha Gamble.  Honorary Pallbearers are Johnny Dukes, Tommy Dukes, Antonio Dukes, Mario Frazier and Jessie McCoy.  Burial will be in Portland #2 Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 5:30 to 6:30PM on Friday at Cromwell Funeral Home, Inc.
