Mrs. Carolyn Marie Ricks, 57 of Hamburg, AR, died Sunday, July 6, 2008 at her sister's residence in Winnsboro, LA. Mrs. Ricks was a native of England, AR, a resident of Hamburg for the past 23 years, a homemaker, and a member of South Side Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Aubrey & Ann Gober and one brother, Ronnie Gober.

She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Donald Ricks, one son, William Jerry Pamplin, Jr., wife Erin of Rogers, AR, two daughters, Teresa Curry, husband Jerry Lynn of Warren, AR, Susan Lynn Hopping, husband Les of Rogers, AR, one step-daughter, Vickie Sue Ricks of Monticello, AR, one brother, Kenneth Gober, wife Audrey of Monroe, LA, four sisters, Linda Hill, husband Wayne & Sharon Ferrington all of Winnsboro, LA, Diane Halcomb of Little Rock, AR, Kathy Smithwick, husband David of Pine Bluff, AR, six grandchildren, Kayla Savage, William Frizzell, Jonathan Frizzell, Cassity Pamplin, Jaelynn Curry & Harley Holland, and one great-grandchild.

Remains will be cremated. Memorial services to be announced at a later date.
