Carol Ellen Nutter, age 63 of Crossett died Saturday November 4, 2023, at her daughters' home in Hamburg, AR. She was a lifelong resident of Crossett, a retired cosmetologist, and was of the Baptist faith. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed going to the King Biscuit Blues Festival every year, making arts and crafts, fishing, cooking, and grilling.

She was preceded in death by her parents Leslie and Lavern Collins Huff, a brother Roger Huff, and a granddaughter Allene Withers.

She is survived by her husband of 26 years William C. Nutter, a daughter Renee Marshall of Hamburg, stepdaughter Ashley Savage husband Joseph of Hamburg, a stepson Doug Nutter of Hamburg, and a brother Bill Huff of Crossett. She is survived by five grandchildren Zackery Marshall wife Megan, Phara Withers, Dakota Savage, Leland Savage, and Will Savage, nine great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held later date to be determined.
