Bro. Paul Edward McDill, age 57, of Hamburg, AR, passed away Monday, October 3, 2016 at his residence. He was a native of Columbus, MS, a retired Truck Driver and a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church in the Snyder Community.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Bro. James Elvin McDill, Sr. and Rosa Florence Allen-McDill, a step-son, Dean Everett White, and a sister, Shirley Marie McDill. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle and Bro. McDill never pastored a church but he preached throughout Ashley County.

He is survived by his wife of twelve years, Debra Jeanne Shoemaker-McDill, two step-sons: Daniel Devereux, Derrick Devereux both of Monroe, LA; two daughters: Susan Rice, husband Daniel of Hamburg, AR; Jessica Shoemaker, husband Brian of Monroe, LA; three brothers: Bro. James Elvin McDill, Jr., wife Nancy, Stanley Dale McDill, Michael Joseph McDill, wife Mary Ann all of Hamburg, AR, nine grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Services will be held 2:00PM Thursday, October 6, 2016 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church 1371 Ashley 25 (Berlin Rd.), Hamburg, AR 71646 with Bro. Jamie Coulter and Bro. James Elvin McDill, Jr., officiating. Active Pallbearers are Daniel Rice, Daniel Devereux, Derrick Devereux, Brian Shoemaker, Curtis "Elmo" McDill and Kyle Kulp. Honorary Pallbearers are Bubba Lincoln and Austin Harrison. Burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 5, 2016 from 6:00PM-8:00PM at Cromwell Funeral Home, Inc.
