Bobby Ray Brown, 62 of Crossett, AR died Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff, AR. He was a lifelong resident of Crossett and a retiree of Georgia Pacific paper mill. Bobby was a member of the New Bethel Baptist Church and served on the Deacon, Choir, Trustee, and Brotherhood Ministry. He was a member of the AM&N College Alumina Club now UAPB, Maxwell Hunting Club, also a Master Mason of Exodus Lodge 403 of Crossett. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, and fishing. He was a foster parent, and above all his love for God, Church, and his family was most important to him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Addie Fudge-Brown, six brothers, Willie, Henry, Charlie, Danny, Cornelius, Thurman Brown, and three sisters, Floyce Brown, Ruby Brandy, and Addie Temple.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Marie Brown, two sons, Bruntrom Brown, wife Quisa of Killeen, TX, Montrell Brown of Little Rock, AR, two daughter, Antiqudra Davis of Kansas City, KS, Shaquanna Brown of Crossett, one sister Loyie Mays of Kansas City, KS, eight grandchildren, Jermiahus Cranford, Aisha Brown, Micole Bolden, B.J. Brown, Trevon Brown, NyKeisha Beasley, DeAndre Beasley, two great grandchildren, DeAndre Beasley, Jr., DeAveonn Beasley, foster parent of eighty seven children, and a host of other family, friends, and loved ones.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 15, 2011 at 3:00 pm at New Bethel Baptist Church with Pastor Jesse Radford, Jr. officiating. Pallbearers are Harold Tucker, Cedric Tucker, Danny Burchfield, Bobby Fountain, Undre Tate, Ricky Brown, Marlis Brown, and Mike Brown. Honorary Pallbearers will be New Bethel Deacon and Trustee Ministry, and the Sr. Choir of New Bethel, T.W. Daniel High School Class of 1968, and the Maxwell Hunting Club. Visitation is Friday, October 14, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 at Cromwell Funeral Home. Burial in Westview Cemetery under the directions of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.
