Bobby Golden Broomfield, age 79 of Hamburg, AR transitioned Sunday, October 6, 2024 at The Woods, A Nightingale Community in Monticello, AR.  He was a native of Lake Village, AR, but a resident of Hamburg for the past forty-four years.  He was a retired welder, and a member of Friendship Pentecostal Church of God.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Lydia Broomfield (2015), his parents, Oather and Celester Bolin Hill, two brothers, Ishmael and Randolph Hill, and three sisters, Rachel Kennedy, Annette Bates, and an infant sister.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and making and selling barbeque grills.  Bobby loved his family.

He is survived by one son, Bobby Broomfield II of Crossett, AR, two daughters, Violet Strange and Loleta and husband Patrick Myers all of Hamburg, AR, six grandchildren, Tiffany Caldwell, Joel Broomfield, Nakita Johnson, Dakota Brown, Ashley Strange, and Talyn Hilliard, and four great grandchildren.

Memorial service is Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 4:00 P.M. at Cromwell Funeral Home Chapel.
