Mr. Bobby Joe "B.J." Rice, Jr., 33 of Hamburg, AR, died Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at his residence. He was a native of Montrose, AR and a former construction worker.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Joe Rice, his maternal grandparents, Henry & Marie McCurdy Burns and his paternal grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. John Henry Rice. B.J. enjoyed riding four wheelers, horses and fishing.

He is survived by his son, Joseph Lane Rice of Harrisburg, AR, his mother, Carolyn Burns Swan, his step-father, James Squier, Sr. both of Montrose, AR, four brothers: Johnny Rice, wife Carla of Monticello, AR, Bobby Wayne Rice of Alabama, James Squier & Joseph Squier both of Dover, DE, four sisters: Carolina Nichols, husband Craig of Montrose, AR, Barbara Reynolds, husband Michael of Dover, DE, Renee Ferrell, husband Tommie of Johnsville, AR, Julie Kinnard, husband Phil of Fountain Hill, AR and a host of other family, loved ones and friends.

Remains were cremated. Arrangements by Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR. Visitation Saturday, March 30, 2013 from 5-7 pm at Cromwell Funeral Home.
