Ms. Bobbie Ann Smith, 72, of Lake Village, AR passed away Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Delta Regional Medical Center in Greenville, MS. She was a lifelong resident of Lake Village, a Retired Educator, Business Owner of (Chicot Barbeque aka Chicken Shack), and a member of New Hope Baptist Church.
Ms. Smith was preceded in death by her parents Matthew and S.C. Wallace-Smith, two brothers: Robert Smith and Matthew Jr.; three sisters: Jessie Robinson, Myrtle McCree, and Clara Dunnbar. Bobbie enjoyed fishing and cooking for family and friends, and she would always keep a smile on your face.
She is survived by five sons: Jimmy McCree of Columbia, LA; Willie McCree, Jr. of Houston, TX; Fredrick McCree, wife Margo of Atlanta, GA; Einnod Williams of Maumelle, AR; and Stacy Stepp of Lake Village, AR; five daughters: Linda McCree-Johnson of Pine Bluff, AR; Angela McCree-Briggs, husband Wayne of Nashville, TN; Sandra McCree-Williams of Lake Village, AR Sheila McCree-Wright and Kendra McCree both of Little Rock, AR; one sister: Dixie Smith-Young of Lake Village, AR; two brothers: Willie Smith of Lake Village, AR; and Edward Smith, wife Ruby of Pine Bluff, AR, and a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral Services are 1:00PM Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Faith Fellowship Church with Reverend Cecial P. King, officiating. Pallbearers are Jarrod Black, Wayne Briggs, Fredrick McCree, Jermahn McCree, Jimmy McCree, Willie McCree, Billy Smith, Stacy Stepp, Einnod Williams, and John Wright. Interment in New Cemetery.
Visitation is Friday, February 5, 2016 from 5:30PM–7:30PM at New Hope Baptist Church.
