Mrs. Bobbie Jean Golden, 73, of Crossett, AR, died Sunday, August 31, 2014 at the Ashley County Medical Center of Crossett. She was a homemaker and a member of Southside Baptist Church of Hamburg. She enjoyed reading, crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Opal Gulledge Skender and one brother, Richard Skender.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Johnny Golden and daughter, Gail Williams (husband Steve) of Crossett, and five brothers, Frank Skender (wife, Peggy) and Paul Skender (wife, Darlene) both of Crossett, James Skender of Hallsville, TX and Jim Skender (wife, Brenda) of Hamburg and Burt Skender of Tyler, TX. Two grandchildren, Trey Ebarb and Tana Ebarb both of Crossett and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are Wednesday, September 3rd, 2014 at 10:30am at Southside Baptist Church in Hamburg with Bro. Von Blue and Bro. Robin Allen officiating. Pall bearers are Danny Courson, Gus McKenzie, Douglas Crane, Dale Densmore, Herman Johnson and Paul Skender. Burial in Crossroads Cemetery.

Visitation is Tuesday, September 2nd from 6-8pm at Cromwell Funeral Home in Hamburg, AR.
