Mr. Billy Ray Robinson, 54 of Hamburg, AR, died Sunday, August 31, 2014 at the Ashley County Medical Center. He was a lifelong resident of Ashley County, and was born on July 1, 1960 in Parkdale, Arkansas. He was a Spotter for Plum Creek, and was a member of Epistles of God Church of Deliverance.

Mr. Robinson was preceded in death by his parents, Bee & Georgia Mae Dugar Robinson, one brother, John Wesley Kilpatrick and one sister, Georgia Mae Dugar. Billy Ray was an avid outdoorsman, he loved to fish, hunt and also enjoyed all sports.

He is survived by one son, Lazarus Tucker of Hamburg, AR, five daughters: Alecia Robinson of Hamburg, AR, Bridgette Gilliam, Glenda Gilliam, Desiree Gilliam all of Crossett, AR, Kaliyah Robinson of Hamburg, AR, seven brothers: Robert Robinson of Hamburg, AR, Robert Earl Robinson of Memphis, TN, James, Lee Edward, Frank, William and Bell Jr. Robinson all of Chicago, IL, seven sisters: Willie Mae Robinson & Ida Mae Robinson both of Hamburg, AR, Christie Brown of Memphis, TN, Bobbie Jean Robinson-Pitts of Crossett, AR, Mary Ann Robinson of Monroe, LA, Earlene Robinson of Pine Bluff, AR and Fredrica Diane Robinson of Chicago, IL, five grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends.

Funeral services are Monday, September 8, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Epistles of God Church of Deliverance with Pastor Mary Arnold, officiating. Active pallbearers are Lawrence Tucker, James Tucker, Dan Smith, Morris Ray Richardson, Billy Ray Brown, Hollis McQuay and Vellee Williams. Honorary pallbearers are Lee, Frank, Robert and William Robinson. Burial in Johnson Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation from 3:30 to 5:00 pm, Sunday, September 7, 2014 in the Cromwell Funeral Home Chapel.
