Betty Sue Timmons, 71 of Dumas, AR transitioned on Thursday May 22, 2025, at the home of her daughter. She was a native of Monticello and a former resident of Hamburg. Betty was a retired interior decorator and a member of Dark Corner Christian Church in Gould, AR.

She was preceded in death by her son, Dan Timmons, parents Richard and Zola Bea Scroggins Glennon, four brothers, David Glenn Cowan, Richard A. Griffin, James Griffin, and Billy Griffin, and stepfather M.L. Glennon. Betty served as a member of Hamburg School Board for fifteen years and was a former president of Hamburg Chamber of Commerce. Betty was a devoted mother and grandmother who enjoyed fishing, singing, and loved decorating.

She leaves to cherish her memories one daughter; Bianca Timmons Courson and husband David of Hamburg, AR; sister Rose Stephens and husband Carl of Taylor, AR; four grandchildren Kyle Canik, Daniel Timmons, Casey Timmons, and Taylor Land; beloved niece, Katy Griffin; and daughter in law Kathleen Armstrong; seven great-grandchildren, other family members, and friends.

Funeral Service is Sunday May 25, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. at Cromwell Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Jerry Ebert officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Pallbearers are Dakotah Timmons, Kevin Griffin, Keith Griffin, Michael Griffin, PeeWee Wells, and Greg Maxwell. Honorary Pallbearers are Trent Land, Trent Timmons, Darrell Spurlock, and Jon Smith. Burial will be in Hamburg Cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.
