Mrs. Betty Jo Smith, 80, of Sherwood, AR, formerly of Crossett, died Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at Sherwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was a native of Parkdale, a former employee of the Hamburg Shirt Factory, and a member of New Bethel Baptist Church.

She is preceded by one son, Darford Lee Williams; her mother, Elizabeth Gray; and two brothers, Thomas Smith, Sr.  and Lee Tom McGee; and two sisters, Yvonne McGee and Jacqueline Smith.  Betty loved working with crafts.  She also enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing cards and Dominoes, and fishing as long as her health permitted her to go.

She is survived by three sons, Arnold Williams, of Los Angeles, CA, Ernest Sanders, wife Kim, of Little Rock, AR, and Thomas Sanders, wife Sharon, of North Little Rock, AR; two brothers, James "Pap" Smith, of Crossett, AR, and Napoleon Smith, Jr., wife Mattie, of Monroe, LA; two sisters, Jerline Bunton, husband Willie, and Marion Regina Jones, husband Ronnie, both of Monroe, LA; thirteen grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Graveside service will be Wednesday, August 12, 2020, 11:00 a.m., at Westview Cemetery with Pastor Jessie Radford officiating.

Walk through viewing will be Tuesday, August 11, 2020, 1-5:00 p.m., at Cromwell Funeral Home, Inc.
