Mrs. Betty Marie Josephine Adams, 76 of Monticello, AR, died Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at her residence in Monticello. Mrs. Adams was a former resident of Hamburg, but a Monticello resident, a homemaker, and a member of Rolfe Chapel Freewill Baptist Church. She was prededed in death by her parents, Joseph & Valerie Adams, three brothers and four sisters.

She is survived by one son, Anthony, wife Lisa Adams of Monticello, AR, two daughters, Wilhemina, husband William Hayes of Monticello, AR and Valerie Pamplin of Hamburg, AR, one brother, Elson Adams of Ama, LA, two sisters, Stella Adams of West Ringgold, LA & Marie Saia of Houma, LA, thirteen grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, four step-great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

Services are Saturday, May 30, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Rolfe Chapel Freewill Baptist Church with Bro. Carlton White, officiating. Her body will lie in state from 6 pm Friday, May 29 until funeral time on Saturday at Rolfe Chapel Freewill Baptist Church. Pallbearers are Ken Carter, Cal Watkins, Justin Palmer, Bobby Price, William Hayes & William Pamplin. Burial in Rolfe Chapel Cemetery.
