Beatrice Lovon Heaslet-Shahan, 87 of Crossett, AR transitioned Monday, December 29, 2025, at her residence. She was a native of Sulphur, OK and a resident of Crossett for many years. Beatrice was a retired bookkeeper for a grocery store chain and former member of the Sherwood Bible Church, where she served as bookkeeper for the church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Percy Heaslet, Sr. and Bernice Freeman-Heaslet, a brother, Percy Heaslet, Jr., and one sister, Lora E. Price. She was a member of the Women's Auxiliary International Guard, a Sunday School teacher, Children's Church Director, and sponsored monthly fellowship dinners. She was affectionately called "Queen B" by her family and loved ones. She was a loving caregiver who held her family together.

She is survived by one son, Raymond Curt Shahad of Sherwood, AR, one daughter, Dr. Kathleen Shahan of Crossett, AR, two brothers, Donald Heaslet and wife Darlene of Sperry, OK, and Eugene Heaslet and wife Sarah of Bosque Farms, NM, five grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends. She had two very dear friends, Lisa Sharp and Tessa Rice.

A private memorial service will be held in North Little Rock, AR at a later date. Arrangements made by Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.
