Mr. Barron Keith Johnson, 48, of Hamburg died Sunday, May 12, 2019, at Cornerstone Rehabilitation Hospital in Little Rock. He was a lifelong resident of Hamburg, a retiree of the Arkansas Highway Department, and a member of the Christ Temple Pentecostal Church, where he served as deacon.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Rebecca Ann Johnson-Miller, on October 5, 2010; his father, Hosie "Snapper" Heard on June 4, 2013; and two sisters, Shiree Johnson and Debbie Sue Heard.  Barron was a devoted husband and father, who loved his God, church, and family.  He enjoyed telling jokes, making everyone laugh, and loved landscaping and mowing yards to bring out the beauty of the landscape.  He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, and going to church.

He is survived by his wife of 11 years, Oneka Allen-Johnson; one son, Cameron Keith Johnson, of Hamburg, AR; two daughters, Cierra K. Johnson, of Hamburg, AR, and Carriell C. Brown, of Stuttgart, AR; three brothers, Adrian Tucker, of Fayetteville, AR, Kelvin and Bruce Heard, both of Detroit, MI; three sisters, Tammy Nimmer, husband Lee, of Hamburg, AR, Vernicia Huggins, husband Allen, of Dallas, TX, and Shelby Wood, husband Henry, of Burkeville, TX; three grandchildren, Anyla Jeffery, Zicarius Jeffery, and Kallie Jasper; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.

Service will be Saturday, May 18, 2019, 11:00 A.M., at Christ Temple Pentecostal Church with Bishop Alfonso Madden officiating.  Active Pallbearers are Joe Killingsworth, Shrun Jenkins, Walter Jenkins, Jason Jenkins, C.T. Lewis, Taci Gillam, Keith Pippen, and William Tippett.  Honorary pallbearers will be Hamburg High School Class of 89, Christ Temple Men's Ministry Department, Lee Nimmer, Adrian Tucker, Allen Huggins, Derrick Allen, Allen Johnson, Lee Allen, Sr., Connon Foster, Undra Reynolds, Dwight Tippie, Edward Morgan, Henry Wood, Robert Hatchett, and Vincent Foster.  Burial at Johnson Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation Friday, May 17, 2019, from 5:30-7:00 P.M., at Cromwell Funeral Home, Inc. in Hamburg.
