Mrs. Barbara Joyce Henry-Johnson, age 69, of Lake Village, AR died Friday March 25, 2022, at the Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock, AR. She was a resident of Lake Village, AR but formerly resided in Chicago, IL for 40 years. She was a retired dietitian. She was a member of the New Hope Baptist church in Lake Village, AR.

She is preceded in death by husband George Johnson; Parents Jesse McCoy and Lueverda Gant; two brothers Michael Gant, Terry McCoy; one sister Karen Gant. Mrs. Johnson was a devoted mother and grandmother who enjoyed fishing and watching old western movies.

She is survived by three daughters Dasinique Henry and Sade Henry both of Lake Village, AR, Ashley Henry of Coralville, Iowa, one stepson Derrick Gantt of Kenosha, Wisconsin, three sisters, Durby Sanders, husband Eddie and Equillia Gantt-Kennon, husband Rodriquez both of Shreveport, LA, Rebecca Gant-Fulford, husband Charles of Lake Village, AR, two brothers Causey Sharp of Gautier, MS and David Gantt, wife Delois of Lake Village, AR, five grandchildren Keontrae Gilmore Jr, Quintez Jones, Alonzo McCullough, Atnaniya McCullough and  Ariyon McCullough.

Service will be Sunday, April 3 ^rd at 1pm at the New Hope Baptist church in Lake Village, AR with Elder Sederick Webb officiating.

Viewing one hour prior to service.

Burial is to follow at the New Cemetery.

Pallbearers: James Aulberry, Seimon Jones, Gordan Brown Jr, Ellis McCree, Billy Lane, Darrell Gantt.
