Mrs. Arneacie Mae "Pie" Hatchett, 64 of Hamburg, AR died Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at St. Vincent Hospital in Little Rock, AR. She was a native of Hamburg and a lifelong resident of Ashley County. Mrs. Hatchett was a retired cook of Hamburg Leisure Lodge and a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church.


She is preceded in death by her husband of forty one years, Richard Lee Hatchett who passed away December 23, 2007, her parents, Luther and Wesola Parker Curenton, two brothers Elijah, and Willie Ed Curenton.


She is survived by two sons, Richard Hatchett, Jr., wife Lillie, and Robert Hatchett both of Arlington, TX, one daughter, Sharon Hatchett of Hamburg, AR, two brothers, Luther Curenton, Jr., wife Alice of Decatur, GA, and Carnell Curenton of Flint, MC, three sisters, Tinnie Clark, husband Jimmy of Hamburg, AR, Rothonia Simon of Southfield, MI, and Helen Mcpherson of Wilmot, AR, seven grandchildren, one great grandchild, and a host of other family, friends and loved ones.


Funeral Services will be held Monday, September 19, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt Zion Baptist Church with Rev Willie R. Taylor officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, September 18, 2011 from 4:00-5:00 p.m. at Cromwell Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Timmy Downs, Lloyd Collins, Anthony Wilson, Larry Works, Marvin Walters, and Curtis Martin. Burial in Johnson Cemetery under the directions of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.
