Obituary

Mrs. Annie Bell Scott, 81 of Crossett, AR, died Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at Stonegate Villa Health and Rehabilitation Center in Crossett, AR. She was a native of Itta Bena, MS, but lived in Crossett for the past 65 years and was a member of the Pleasant Green Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Mitchell Scott, one daughter, Rose Scott Hampton, her parents, Tom and Mary Hollins Perkins, three brothers, Willie, Tom Jr., and Jimmy Perkins, on sister, Willie Mae McNut, two grandchildren, Cedric Smith, and Venetria Scott. Annie Bell loved her God, Church, and Family. She enjoyed cooking pastries (cakes and pies)

She is survived by her two sons, Mitchell Scott Jr., wife Brenda of Jacksonville, AR, and James Scott, wife Cynthia of Little Rock, AR, one step son, Eddie J. Scott, wife Clarice of Jacksonville, AR, six daughters, Mary Smith, husband Donald, Linda Ellis, husband Glenn, Marilyn Whaley, husband Carl, Vera Scott, Michelle Bradford, husband Audwin all of Crossett, AR, Pernilla Smith, husband Walter of Louisville, KY, on step daughter, Emma Tate, husband Willie of Camden, AR, one brother, Johnny Ray Perkins, one special caregiver, Jacqueline Scott, and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services are Saturday, July 9, 2011 at 11:00 am at New Bethel Baptist Church with Bishop Walter Smith, Rev. Fredrick Haynes, Rev. Marvin Scott, Rev. David Bouie, and Rev. Jessie Radford officiating. Pallbearers are Marcus Ellis, Corey Rochelle, Martinez Scott, Santario Scott, Derrick Ellis, Kamone Scott, Chansen Scott, and JaCarlo Whaley. Visitation will be Friday, July 8, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Cromwell Funeral Home. Burial in Westview Cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.
