Annie Marie "Ann" Radford, age 66 of Crossett, AR., died Saturday June 10, 2023, at the Nightingale Nursing Home of Crossett. She was a native of Crossett and a 1975 graduate of Crossett High School. Ms. Radford was a member of New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, a retired public-school teacher, and a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Teaching was her passion, and she was described by her students, colleagues, and employers as a "tough and excellent" teacher. Her teaching career spanned over thirty-five years, as she first taught at Grambling State University in Louisiana, then at Bradley High School in Arkansas. Her teaching then led her back home to Crossett where she taught at Crossett High School and ended her career at Albritton Elementary School in Hamburg, AR. in 2020. She was devoted to her church where she served as a Sunday School teacher, usher, and public speaker. Ann was known for her superior diction, humble intelligence, and reserved candor.

She was preceded in death by her loving father, L.C. Radford and brother, Eddie Williams.

She is survived by her mother, Pauline Radford of Crossett, AR., a brother Lee Clemon Radford Jr., wife Nola of Knoxville, TN., a sister Virginia Lemmons of Omaha, NE., and many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and students.

Funeral Service will be Friday June 16, 2023, at 10:00 AM at New Bethel Missionary Baptist in Crossett, AR with Bro. Jesse Radford, Jr., officiating. Active Pallbearers are Bro. Byron Green, Bro. Ricky Brown, Bro. Cedric Tucker, Bro. Derrick Williams, Bro. Derrius Williams, and Bro. Billy Reynolds. Honorary Pallbearers Crossett High School Class of 1975. Burial will be in Ryles Cemetery in Whites Station Community, Crossett, AR.
