Mrs. Annie Mae Hubbard, 102 of Lake Village, AR, formerly of Hamburg, died Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at Chicot Memorial Medical Center. She was born on October 27, 1911 in Alabama to Alex & Geneva Dunigan Cox. She lived most of her life in Hamburg, AR, and had resided in Lake Village for the past few years. She was a homemaker and a member of Woodson Temple Baptist Church.
Mrs. Hubbard was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Hubbard, five sons: Thomas Jr., Frank, Robert Leonard, Walter & Danny Hubbard, two daughters, Florence "Dutt" Johnson & Eva "Honeybee" Williams, her parents, Alex and Geneva Dunigan Cox, nine brothers and two sisters. "Ma Mae" as she was affectionately called by her family loved spending time with each and every one of them.
She is survived by two sons, Charlie Hubbard, wife Mary of Atlanta, GA, Freddie Hubbard, wife Ruby of Little Rock, AR, one daughter, Claudette Tucker, husband Theotis of Lake Village, AR, one sister-in-law, Mardell Cox of Hamburg, AR, thirty grandchildren, forty-five great-grandchildren, fifty great-great grandchildren, twenty great-great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and loved ones.
Funeral services are Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 11:00 am at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Curtis Spencer officiating. Pallbearers are Robert Cox, Jr., Larry Tippie, Carl Cox, Terry Rucker, Mark Jones and Lawrence Tippie, Jr. Burial in Johnson Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation Friday, July 25, 2014 from 6-7 pm at Cromwell Funeral Home.
