Ann McCandless, age 67 of Crossett, died Saturday, March 5th, 2011 at the Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock. She was a native of Wilmot, AR but resided in Crossett for the past 40 years. She is a retiree of Georgia Pacific Paper Mill and a member of the Baptist faith and a veteran of the US Army.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Fredrick and Pearl Bowline Kincaid; Three brothers: Roy, Troy and Buddy Earl Kincaid; One Sister: Georgia Kincaid.

She is survived by three sons: Justin McCandless of Bartow, Fl, Shawn McCandless and Cade McCandless both of Crossett; One daughter: Heather McCandless Johnson of Crossett; Two sisters: Ethel Gurettezz of St. Louis, MO, and Beatrice Hollis of Crossett; Four grandchildren: Devon Swain, Dayna King, Brooklyn King and Michael McCandless; Two great-grandchildren: Braidon Swain and Brennon Allison.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 9th at 11:00AM at Cromwell Funeral Home in Hamburg, AR with Minister Lee Padilla officiating. Burial will be at Cleveland Cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home, Inc. Pallbearers will be West King, Steven Sooter, David White, Kelvin Sipes, Chatz Rice and Terrence Dye. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 8th from 6:00-8:00pm.
