Andron Donnell Metcalf, 42 of Wilmot, AR, transitioned on Wednesday January 1, 2025, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff, AR. He was a native of Bastrop, LA , a former forklift driver, and landing signal officer. He was a member of John Wesley A.M.E. Zion Church.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Joe Samuel and Tenner Bell Gaston, paternal grandparents, John G. and Alberta Metcalf. Andron enjoyed riding motorcycles, shopping especially for sneakers, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his parents, Andrew Metcalf and Delores Metcalf, one son, Andron Metcalf, Jr., and one daughter, Adriana Metcalf both of Memphis, TN, one sister, Andrea Johnson husband Larry of Pine Bluff, AR, other family members and friends.

Funeral Service will be Saturday January 11, 2025, at John Wesley A.M.E. Zion Church 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Azeez Dominique officiating. Pallbearers are Cortney Harris, Leroy Stanley, Robert Whitaker, Jr., Yemal Matthews, Thurnell Hymes, Demarcus Williams, Jr., Kordale Brown, and Robert Whitaker, Sr. Honorary Pallbearers HHS Class of 2000. Burial in Jim Smith Cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home, Inc. of Hamburg, AR.
