Alvis Aaron "Jason" Jordan, Jr., 19 of Sherwood, AR, died Saturday, June 16, 2012 in a swimming accident at the Indian Lake in Austin, AR. He was a native of Wilmot, AR, and a member of the Second Baptist Church in Wilmot. Alvis was an avid sportsman who loved playing basketball and football, he enjoyed people, telling his jokes, and dancing.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Helen Moore, and paternal grandfather, Horace Jordan.

He is survived by his parents Alvis Aaron and Angela Moore-Jordan of Sherwood, AR, three brothers, Marquis Moore of Maumelle, AR, Adrian Moore , and Jacarius Jordan both of Sherwood, AR, one sister, Kiara Jordan of Houston, TX, maternal grandfather, Harvest Moore, paternal grandmother, Shirley Brooks both of Wilmot, AR, and a host of other family members and friends.

Funeral service is Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at First Baptist Church with Rev. James Lewis officiating. Active pallbearers are William Jackson III, Montreal Jackson, Darren Mcadoo, Aljuan Dunn, Randy Brown Jr., Frankie Robinson, Tyler Brown, and Breon Cox. Honorary pallbearers are Gregory Henman III, Jamison Williams, Kendrion Houston, Rodney White, Devante Bridge, and Deundre Bryant. Visitation will be Friday, June 24, 2012 from 6-8:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home. Burial in Second Baptist Cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.
