Alvin Lee Moore, Age 70 of Crossett died Sunday, December 6, 2020 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center of Pine Bluff. He was a native of Crossett and was a retired, social worker for the state of Arkansas. Alvin was a graduate of T.W. Daniel High School, class of 1968, also a graduate of  Hendrix State University class of 1975, with a BA degree in Sociology. He was a member of First Baptist Church on Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive.

Alvin was preceded in death by his parents Adrian and Agnes Heath Moore. Alvin enjoyed playing basketball. Alvin played with the Arkansas Rolling Razorbacks for several years. They called him Mr. Automatic because he could really shoot the ball.

He is survived by a daughter, Tiffany Bradley (Albert) of Crossett. Two brothers, Samuel Johnson (Arzetta) of Flint, MI and Charles Moore (Sheri) of Crossett.  Two sisters Mabel Tinnin of Crossett and Wanda Belcher (Acie) of Warren, AR. Three grandchildren, Josh Gibbs of Conway, AR and Derrick and India Luckey of Crossett, AR.  One great granddaughter, Nyla Gibbs of Conway, AR

Graveside service will be December 12, 2020 at Westview Cemetery, under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home, Inc., with Rev. Jesse Radford, Jr. officiating. Honorary Pallbearers are William Glenn Ellis, Fredie Hargraves, Willie Ray Couser, David Childress, Carvin Jones and Jamaal Williams.
