Alecia Denise Davis, age 39, of Crossett, AR transitioned on Tuesday October 14, 2025, at the University of Arkansas Medical Center in Little Rock, AR. She was a lifelong resident of Crossett and a member of First Baptist Church. Alecia was an elementary school teacher whose career began in the Union County school district with her final teaching tenure being in the Ashley County school district.

She was preceded in death by her father A.D. Davis (2009), and her brother Elvin Lemont Gibbs (1985). Alecia was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She loved reading, working with her students at school, and the youth in her church.

She is survived by her mother, Caroline Davis of Crossett, AR, three sons, Trenton Davis of Crossett, AR, Xhaden Williams and Arnez Williams, Jr. both of Huttig, AR; two daughters, Latayja Davis and Teagan Williams both of Crossett, AR; four brothers, Elvin D. Gibbs and wife Pamela of Crossett, AR, Rodney Hendrix wife Shannon of Springdale, AR, Alfred Davis and Darrell Carter both of Crossett, AR; ten sisters, Carol Girtman, Rachel Gibbs, Stacie Gibbs, Diana Gibbs, Aletha Fields, Beverly Fenceroy, LaJetta "Jet" Hammock and husband Raynard, Jean Carter, and Wanda Allen all of Crossett, AR, Zandra Hall and husband Charles of Little Rock, AR; godmother, Linda Jackson of Crossett, AR; a special friend Arnez Williams, Sr. of Huttig, AR; a host of nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.

Funeral services will be Sunday October 19, 2025, at 3:00 PM at First Baptist Church with Pastor Curtis Jackson, Sr. officiating. Pallbearers are Darryl Gibbs, Maurice Howard, Lazarus Adams, Anthony Lewis, Antonio Stroman, and Andre Davis. Honorary pallbearers are CHS Class of 2004. Burial in Nimmons Cemetery on Highway 425, south of Hamburg under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.
