Mr. Aaron Harris, Jr., 89 of Crossett, AR., died Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Cornerstone Hospital of West Monroe. He was a native of Portland, AR, and was a retiree of Georgia Pacific Paper Mill.

He was preceded in death by his son, James George and his parents, Aaron Harris and Elizabeth Scott Harris. He enjoyed spending time with his family hunting, fishing and cooking.

He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Mrs. Jessie Mae Harris, three sons: Curtis Harris, wife Mechelle, Aaron Harris III, wife Gwendolyn & Larry Harris, wife Wanda all of Crossett, AR, one daughter, Lois Harris Williams, husband B.J., of Crossett, AR, nine grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and a host of other family, friends and loved ones.

Funeral services are Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Cromwell Funeral Home with Rev. Clarence Green, officiating. Active pallbearers are Cornell Brown, Edgar Johnson, Leondras Simpson, Larry Rogers, Freddie Hargraves & Bernard Martin. Honorary pallbearers are Stacy Harris, Tracy Harris, Calvin L. Walker, Brian Harris & Shadrick Wilson. Burial in Westview Cemetery.
