Mrs. Evelyn Eudora Sivils, 93, of Hamburg, AR died Thursday, May 27, 2010, at her son’s home. She was a lifelong resident of Hamburg. Mrs. Sivils worked number of years at Charles Spencer Grocery Store and Hamburg Shirt Factory. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by husband, Virgil Van Sivils, her parents, Thomas Bradford and Lou Annie Ford Rogers, three brothers, Billy, Bob, and Joe Rogers, three sisters, Hazel Davis, Elizabeth Gunn, Beverly Rogers, a grand-son, Jerry Wayne Maxwell, and a son-in-law, Wayne Maxwell.
She is survived by two sons, Tommy Sivils of Hamburg, AR and Bobby and wife Linda Sivils of Texas City, TX, two daughters, Patricia husband Bobby Joe Kelley and Betty Maxwell both of Hamburg, AR, one sister, Thomasene husband Chester Anders of Crossett, AR and six grand children, Karla Austin, Teresa Maxwell, Timothy wife Crystal Sivils, Shane and Robert Sivils and Tambra husband Nat, 19 great grandchildren, and 10 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 29, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at Southside Baptist Church with Bro. Charles Pullin and Bro. Sanders Brooks officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Southside Baptist Church. Pallbearers are Eric Maxwell, Mitchell Maxwell, Ryan Austin, Brandon Dickey, Chance Sivils and Joshua Sivils.
